Kyleigh & Tyler’s wedding ceremony at the Indiana State House was incredibly intimate & beautiful. We spent the morning getting ready before heading over to the Indiana State House for their wedding ceremony. Then we finished off the night at their favorite restaurant, Maialina for their intimate reception! Their wedding was the perfect representation of Indianapolis with the classic architecture of the Indiana State House as well as a more urban feel for their reception & portraits. Kyleigh & Tyler filled their day with exactly what they wanted to do & I am obsessed with how their day played out!
Getting Ready
Kyleigh & Tyler took the morning slow getting ready separately. Kyleigh & her bridesmaids got ready in the CUTEST bridal suite. There was plenty of space for her wedding party to spread out & enjoy themselves while they got ready to head to the Indiana State House. On top of that there were so many cute details like the string lights, the “Best Day Ever” sign that brought all the hype to the start of Kyleigh & Tyler’s day.
The First Look
Knowing that they wanted to spend most of their wedding day together, Kyleigh & Tyler planned to have a first look prior to their ceremony at the Indiana State House. The Indiana State House is SO beautiful, filled with marble pillars, high ceilings & gorgeous staircases, it makes for such a beautiful ceremony space & an incredible spot for portraits. The State House has such a grand sense of scale & beauty it’s honestly jaw dropping & was the perfect choice for Kyleigh & Tyler’s ceremony.
Their Intimate Ceremony at the Indiana State House
For their ceremony Kyleigh & Tyler invited 80 of their closest friends & family members to the Indiana State house. They kept their ceremony intimate & personal, just the way the two wanted it. Every part of their wedding day was centered completely around them which I loved. Immediately after their ceremony the two signed their paperwork & then shared their first dance together. This was such a unique touch to their wedding day & something I hadn’t experienced before!
Their Reception at Maialina Restaurant
After some family portraits at the Indiana State House it was time to head to Maialina Restaurant for their wedding reception. Maialina Restaurant is Kyleigh & Tyler’s favorite spot in Indiana & was the perfect choice for their intimate reception. Their night was filled with incredible food, fun & heartfelt speeches, & enough dancing to last a lifetime! Seriously, the dance floor was full the entire time which was so fun.
Kyleigh & Tyler’s Indiana State House wedding day was exactly what they wanted. Intimate, meaningful, fun, & most importantly perfect for them.
