Kristin & Nick’s engagement session at Brown County State Park in Indiana is one of my favorite fall sessions that I’ve had. These two have such great chemistry & were SO much fun to work with. These two have SUCH a sweet love story. They initially dated in high school, which how cool, but took a break as they headed into post high school life. Five & a half years down the road they reconnected & have been together ever since! They love hiking together & wanted their engagement photos done surrounded by nature, so Brown County State Park was the perfect choice.

Brown County State Park in the Fall

Brown County State Park is the largest state park in Indiana & there is so much to love about it. For starters the large scale of the park means that there is a TON to see & explore throughout the park. This also means that you’re likely to have a good amount of privacy when it comes to your session, making it feel more personal & intimate between the two of you. That combined with the absolute beauty that comes with the leaves changing colors in the fall & we ended up with the perfect conditions for Kristin & Nick’s engagement session at Brown County State Park.

Kristin & Nick’s Engagement Session

Kristin Nick & I all met up at Brown County State Park for their engagement session & headed right into the park to get things started. We started off looking out over the vast open landscape of the park which felt like it stretched out forever. Kristin & Nick were so much fun to work with & they had a blast working with the prompts I gave them for their photos. After a bit of dancing & frolicking around, we opted for an outfit change & headed into some of the forests of the park to take advantage of the fall leaves. Between the color of the leaves & Kristin & Nick’s fall sweaters the fall vibes were in full swing for their engagement session!

I had such an incredible time with Kristin & Nick & being able to capture their engagement session at Brown County State Park in all its fall glory was truly a special experience.
