Caroline and Ted’s intimate wedding at Tabor Hill Winery in Nile Michigan was the perfect spot for their day. Caroline and Ted met on Hinge and went on a date that ended up lasting 9+ hours which consisted of brunch and some bar hopping. Needless to say, these two hit it off right away! They love to travel, camp, make elaborate meals, and watch the great British baking show. The two discovered Nile Michigan while visiting for Notre Dame games and soon after found Tabor Hill Winery. Right away they fell in love and decided it would be the perfect spot for their reception.

Getting Ready

Caroline and Ted spent the morning getting ready separately, each at their own Airbnb. They sent each other personal gifts and love notes to open the morning of, which was such a beautiful little detail. With the two of them getting ready separately and no first look the anticipation was really building before their ceremony. Once everyone was ready we headed over to a church nearby the Tabor Hill Winery for an intimate ceremony.

Their Church Ceremony

Caroline and Ted got married on a Wednesday in August at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception church.  They shared vows with one another and were married surrounded by their closest family and friends.  These two were able to plan the sweetest intimate wedding day while still incorporating a number of traditions that one might typically see at a larger wedding.

Caroline and Ted decided to wait to see each other for the first time at their ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.  They even had their family do a bubble exit as they exited the church as newlyweds which was SO much fun!  After their exit, we all met at the winery for portraits and their reception.

Portraits

Once we arrived at the Michigan winery we decided to take some intimate wedding portraits around the winery’s grounds. One of the big reasons they chose to have their reception at Tabor Hill Winery was because they were able to have their adorable pup Islay with them when taking their portraits.  We had so much fun chasing the sunset throughout the winery with their pup Islay.

Their Intimate Michigan Winery Wedding Reception

After we finished up our portraits we headed into Caroline and Ted’s family and friends to sip some cocktails and get ready for dinner.  Tabor Hill Winery has so many beautiful spaces throughout the venue perfect for larger gatherings or intimate wedding days like Caroline and Ted’s.  The winery has many of your wedding day amenities in-house or listed on their preferred vendor’s list which made Caroline and Ted’s wedding day extremely easy when it comes to planning.  With their phenomenal vendor team, Caroline and Ted’s intimate wedding day was easy, relaxing, and exactly what they hoped for out of a wedding day.

They finished their night with toasts, SO many laughs with their friends and family, and even a first dance for themselves and their parents.  It was so much fun getting to be a part of Caroline and Ted’s
