I recently had the absolute pleasure of taking Brenda & Raul’s engagement photos on a beautifully foggy day here in Indiana. While we definitely didn’t plan on having this type of weather & setting for their session, it honestly made it all the more beautiful. It was also a blast working with Brenda as she is a fellow Indiana based photographer like yours truly. Their Engagement Photos in Indiana
Brenda, Raul, & I had their engagement session at the start of 2024, kicking off the new year in the best possible way. We may not have had any snow due to the somewhat warmer winter we had been having, but that didn’t stop Indiana from looking its best for their engagement photos. We did get to enjoy some of the leftover fall colors, but the main star of the show was the foggy haze we were able to work with throughout the session. Whether it was the moody photos of the two running off into the fog together, or the photos with their trusty Jeep as backlighting, the vibes were fantastic. Brenda & Raul were total troopers as well, not letting the cold weather get to them & fully enjoying this moment together.
Making the Most of Your Engagement Session
Brenda & Raul have their elopement planned for the summer of 2024, so documenting this special time in their relationship was a must. Seeing the weather we were left to work with for their session you may have thought we’d have rescheduled, but Brenda & Raul put their trust in me to go for it. We embraced the moody atmosphere, toughed through the cold mist, & their photos turned out SO fantastic as a result. Whether I’m taking my couples engagement photos here in Indiana or elsewhere I always love when my couples trust me & my process.
Fog & all, I still cannot get over Brenda & Raul’s engagement photos here in Indiana. While I know for a fact their session would have been just as wonderful without the fog being a factor, it really did change the setting to be something unique & special for these two.
