Nick & Andrews winter engagement session at Fort Harrison State Park was a total blast to say the least. We danced to 80’s music, popped champagne, & burst out into endless laughter constantly throughout the session. Nick & I met in college & when he told me that he had found his forever person & they were planning to have their wedding the following April, I was OVER THE MOON with excitement.
Fort Harrison State Park
Nick & Andrew love to hike with one another, so when we were talking through options for their winter engagement session, I knew we would want to go somewhere outdoors. Indiana is full of so many unique locations that make beautiful backdrops for your engagement photos. Fort Harrison State Park is such a beautiful location, with its vast fields & towering trees, it’s really the perfect spot for an engagement session in all seasons.
Winter Engagement Sessions
I Love love love winter engagement sessions & wish that people were more open to them! There is MUCH less sweat, & the colors of your outfits always pop against the background, snow or no snow! Not to mention sweater weather outfits are SO fun & cozy for engagement photos. There’s so much color & texture, it really can’t get much better when it comes to your photos. For Nick & Andrew’s engagement session at Fort Harrison State Park they wore their winter coats over their flannels & t-shirts which was the perfect winter outfit choice & showcases exactly what I love about winter sessions!
I had SO much fun during Nick & Andrew’s winter engagement session at Fort Harrison State Park, & I’m so happy they did as well. Here are some kind words from their review, “I don’t believe there was a moment wasted or opportunity un-seized during our shoot & it really shows. We are beyond happy with the end results & will happily recommend Shelby Jane Photography to anybody!” For a look at more sessions like Nick & Andrew’s head to my blog page here, & if you’re looking to book me for an engagement session of your own head over to my contact page to send me an inquiry.
