Getting Ready
Glo got ready for her & Logan’s wedding day at Peer Beauty Chicago. Peer Beauty is a shared workspace for a variety of beauty vendors that also has a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite, perfect for getting ready on your wedding day. Once dressed & ready for their wedding we headed into the streets of Chicago to make our way to the restaurant for the start of their intimate wedding ceremony.

Their intimate wedding day was very special to them like most couples because of their marriage, but it had an extra special aspect in that it marks the end of the long distance era of their relationship. They met over 6 years ago in Spanish 101, & since meeting, they had spent 4 out of their six years long distance. Being able to celebrate their marriage & this huge change in their relationship with those closest to them was such a wonderful experience & made the ceremony just that much more special. Once their intimate wedding ceremony had concluded we decided to head out into the city for some portraits while the restaurant was converted for their reception.
Wedding Portraits Outside Francesca’s on Chestnut
Not only is Francesca’s on Chestnut the perfect restaurant for an intimate wedding, it’s also the perfect location for some outdoor wedding portraits in Chicago as well . It’s located under the coolest brick apartment building & has an incredible feel to it. Think underground wine cellar interior paired with a white brick upper east side feel exterior. So for their wedding portraits, we walked around the block soaking in some of the city vibes, & taking some unique portraits in front of the buildings surrounding Chestnut. One of Glo & Logan’s favorite things to do is trying new experiences with one another, so exploring the city block on their wedding day & soaking in all of the cool architecture that made up the neighboring streets was right up their alley!
Glo & Logan spent the rest of the evening celebrating & enjoying their next chapter of their relationship with their closest friends at their reception at Francesca’s on Chestnut. I love that they used Chicago as the backdrop for both their engagement session & their wedding day with one of the city’s most beautiful & intimate restaurants. This city has become so special to the two of them & such an important part to their relationship at this point, I know they’ll cherish these areas of the city & the memories they hold for the rest of their lives.
