I am so in love with Glo & Logan & their engagement session on the Chicago Riverwalk. Between the Riverwalk, Chicago’s downtown, & the lakefront we fit in so many of the things they love about the Windy City into their engagement session! These two have such a fun vibe & an incredible love story that I can’t wait to share with you.
About the Couple
Glo & Logan first met in their Spanish class & it was love at first sight. The two have been together for six years since then & haven’t looked back once! Four of the last six years have been spent long distance, but soon they’ll officially be done with the distance & be able to spend their life together. Their wedding is a two-part celebration, for their marriage & the end of being long distance for their relationship & I am SO excited for them. That’s why I was so happy to be a part of their engagement session down on the Chicago Riverwalk to document them as they head into this exciting new chapter of their lives!
Down by the Riverfront
For Glo & Logan’s engagement session we started off down on the Chicago Riverwalk & it was almost entirely empty. Between our early start time and the fog that was rolling through the city we practically had the entire Riverwalk & even downtown all to ourselves which just made everything feel that much more personal. We took our time walking along the river & I loved seeing Glo & Logan have so much fun together. These two have such a sweet love that was so much fun to capture! As we made our way up from the Riverwalk we stopped along one of the bridges for a few more photos before heading into Chicago’s downtown for the next part of their engagement session.
Downtown Chicago
While the Riverwalk is incredible, Chicago’s downtown is one of my favorite places for an engagement session. The towering buildings give you such an insane sense of scale, & with hardly anyone out & about during our session we mostly had the streets to ourselves. Being able to stand in the center of an empty street in the heart of the Windy City is an amazing experience & makes for some truly great photos. For the last bit of our session we headed out to the lakefront at Milton Lee Olive Park for a totally different view of the city. I love how much variety we were able to capture for Glo & Logan’s engagement session.
Glo & Logan’s engagement session along the Chicago Riverwalk & downtown was so sweet & I’m so happy I got to be a part of it. I’m so excited for these two to finally start this next chapter of their lives together & finally be done making things work long distance!
