Today we’re going to take a look at Michelle and PJ’s elopement at Chicago’s City Hall and I could NOT be more excited! These two had been together for 10 years at this point and chose to elope instead of having a more traditional wedding. They’ve attended a ton of weddings together and came to realize that eloping fit their vision much more than a large celebration would have. Their Elopement at Chicago’s City Hall
Michelle and PJ kept their elopement day simple, with a focus solely on them and their love for one another. While you can have a few guests attend your elopement ceremony, I do love their choice of having their elopement be entirely built around them. They kept their ceremony short and sweet, and it was such a magical and intimate moment. Once the two were officially newlyweds it was time for us to head out from City Hall and document some portrait photos around downtown Chicago.
Elopement Portraits in Downtown Chicago
Michelle and PJ looked absolutely for their elopement at City Hall and their portraits in downtown Chicago. These two know how to rock the city chic look, they were seriously SUCH a vibe. We had plenty of time for portrait photos, which let us include a variety of locations into their album. From the streets of downtown Chicago, to the bridges over the Chicago river, and of course iconic spots like the Cultural Center and the Chicago Board of Trade, we really did capture the full Chicago experience for their elopement portraits.
It was so much fun exploring the city alongside Michelle and PJ. These two have such a pure love for one another, and it was so special being able to document this newest chapter in their love story.
