Rahi & Robbie’s intimate in-home wedding in Indiana was the perfect reflection of them as a couple. These two loving family-oriented, sweet people invited me to be a part of their intimate in-home wedding celebration, and it was BEYOND beautiful. I had the pleasure of getting to know these two earlier in the year during their engagement session and they are just some of the most loving and thoughtful people.
Rahi & Robbie put together one of the sweetest & most intimate in-home wedding days I’ve ever been a part of. Their wedding took place at Rahi’s childhood home where they had 21 of their closest friends & family in attendance to celebrate their marriage. Their wedding day consisted of so many details, big & small, that made it totally unique to their relationship which I am ALL for!
Getting Ready & First Looks
From the very start of their wedding day, you could tell how much care & thought was put into the details of their day. From their wedding attire, their invites depicting Rahi’s childhood home, Rahi’s traditional henna art, & so much more, it was easy to see why one of their favorite parts of planning their wedding day was finding ways to add their own personal touches! Rahi & Robbie started off their intimate in-home wedding day getting ready separately so they could share a first look with one another. Their first look was SO sweet as Robbie’s face lit up with excitement seeing Rahi for the first time. We spent some time outside for some portraits of just Rahi & Robbie before it was time to head inside for their wedding ceremony.
Intimate In-Home Wedding Ceremony
One of the coolest parts of Rahi & Robbie’s wedding was how the ceremony was in her family’s native language & incorporated a ton of their traditions throughout. It’s an amazing experience seeing two cultures come together to celebrate the love between two people, & both Rahi & Robbie’s families were beyond thrilled to be a part of their day! After their intimate in-home ceremony Rahi & Robbie opted for some portraits with their friends & family before their reception.
Intimate Back Deck Reception
The reception for their in-home wedding took place on the back deck of Rahi’s childhood home, which was the most perfect & intimate setting. They really went all out with the details for their reception table, & that combined with catering from Hyderabad House & desserts from Mammaw’s Sweet Shoppe was the best way to finish their incredible wedding day. One of Rahi & Robbie’s favorite things to do as a couple is find new dessert places anywhere they go, so it’s no surprise that desserts took center stage for their reception & the sweetest final touch on a perfect day!
If you know me, then you know intimate weddings & elopements are my kind of my thing, so I was beyond happy to have been a part of Rahi & Robbie’s In-Home wedding day!
