Intimate Indiana Backyard Wedding | Mattie & Ryan

Mattie & Ryan’s intimate wedding in their family friend’s backyard in Indiana was seriously so beautiful, I am still not over it. Mattie & Ryan planned their wedding day in a way that they could have a relaxed wedding while surrounded by their closest family & friends. Their family helped pull their intimate wedding off by assisting with all of the details which made their day all the more special. Ryan’s father made the moon piece for the ceremony & his sister made the hand lettering for the signs. Their friends were the officiants, & the bridesmaids helped with the name cards, so it truly was a family affair.

Getting Ready

Mattie & Ryan both got ready in separate places on their Indiana family friend’s farm before their intimate backyard wedding. Prior to their wedding day, they worked with their family members to decorate the space & prep everything that went into their wedding. Mattie got ready in the home on the property while Ryan got ready at another location & put on his final details just outside of the barn. I LOVED all the small celestial details that they included into their wedding day, even down to the colors they chose for their wedding bouquet by Posh Petals.

Their Intimate Backyard Ceremony

After getting ready, Mattie had a first look with her dad & then one with Ryan which was so sweet. I love first looks & the opportunity it gives couples to have quality time with their loved ones on their wedding day. Their intimate wedding ceremony for their backyard wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. I LOVE how they incorporated their celestial theme into the backdrop for their ceremony. Everyone was so excited for the couple, there was so much energy in the air, & their guests couldn’t wait to celebrate with them.

Portraits & Their Celestial Reception

For Mattie & Ryan’s wedding portraits, we walked around the intimate reception space & made some quality time for the two of them. They are such a sweet & loving couple, they loved having a little quality time together as newlyweds before heading to the party to celebrate! For their dinner & reception space, Mattie & Ryan’s family put SO much work into the space. There were so many details all throughout the barn & the property, I couldn’t get enough of it.

Mattie & Ryan’s intimate backyard wedding day in Indiana was something out of a storybook.
